Minoan & Ancient Greek Arts Experiential | Private Tour

Overview

You will start your experience visiting the biggest archaeological collection of artifacts on Crete. You will explore the Minoan Art and go deep into its significance and forms through unique artifacts, such as Minoan unique clay vessels, golden jewelery, impressive seal stones and seal rings, clay, ivory and faience figurines and figures, small sized statues and amazing frescoes.

After that, you will enjoy an hour and a half workhop on the ancient Greek Music in theory and practice, in private studio.During the experiential part of the lab you will experience a coordinated interactive attempt on playing yourselves copies of ancient Greek percussion musical instruments.

Itinerary

1. You will visit the biggest archaeological collection of artifacts of Crete, in Heraklion Archaeology Museum. You will explore the Minoan art and go deep into its significance and forms through unique artifacts.
   
   After that, you will enjoy a very special workshop on the ancient Greek Music conducted in private studio. You will find out a lot about the ancient Greek Music since 2.000 B.C., listen to survived music pieces and experience a coordinated attempt on playing yourselves copies of ancient Greek musical instruments.

Meeting and pickup

You are going to meet your guide at the Fortress of Heraklion Venetian Port, Rocca a Mare or Koule.
