Experience Chania after dark on a guided night dive designed for certified divers.
With a maximum of 4 divers per instructor, you'll explore in a small group with personal guidance throughout the dive.
Night diving reveals a completely different side of the Mediterranean. As daylight disappears, nocturnal marine life becomes more active, with the chance to encounter octopus, moray eels, lobsters and other species that behave differently after dark.
On darker nights, you may also experience bioluminescence — tiny flashes of light in the water that can make night diving particularly memorable.
A dive torch is provided, and previous night-diving experience is not required. Your PADI Instructor will provide a full briefing before entering the water and guide you throughout the dive.

Your night dive is designed for certified divers who want to experience the underwater world of Chania after sunset.
Your experience begins at our PADI Dive Centre in Almyrida, where you'll meet your instructor, prepare your equipment and receive a full night-diving briefing. A dive torch is provided as part of your equipment.
We'll then travel together to Koutalas for a guided shore dive after sunset. As darkness falls, the underwater environment changes and nocturnal marine life becomes more active. Look out for octopus, moray eels, lobsters and other Mediterranean marine life.
There's also a chance to experience bioluminescence during the dive, particularly on darker nights.
You'll be accompanied throughout by an experienced PADI Instructor, so previous night-diving experience is not required.
The exact start time varies throughout the season depending on sunset and will be provided when you book.
Participants must hold a valid scuba diving certification. If you have not dived within the past 12 months, you must complete a refresher dive before joining the night dive.
Meet at Kefi Divers in Almyrida. Look for the Kefi Divers dive centre and our team will be waiting to welcome you. Free parking is available nearby, and the Almyrida bus stop is approximately 200 metres away.
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
