Enjoy a private fishing adventure (per group) around the beautiful waters of Kastelli Harbor, suitable for both beginners and experienced anglers. Fish with rod or spearfishing at carefully selected local fishing spots, guided by an experienced skipper who will tailor the trip to your skill level.

Depending on the season and conditions, you may catch species such as red porgy, dentex, grouper, or even tuna. Between fishing sessions, relax and take in the stunning coastal scenery, crystal-clear waters, rocky shores, and hidden spots that make this area so special.

To complete the experience, your captain will prepare fresh ceviche onboard using the day’s catch, offering a truly authentic taste of the sea. A unique combination of fishing, nature, and local flavors—an unforgettable day on the water in Crete.

Itinerary

1. The experience begins at Kastelli Kissamos Old Port, where guests meet the local captain, receive a short safety briefing, and are introduced to the fishing equipment before heading out to sea.
   This is a hands-on fishing activity focused on active participation rather than a fixed route. Guests take part in the full fishing process alongside an experienced local fisherman, learning traditional techniques, handling equipment, and understanding how local fishing works in real conditions.
   Fishing takes place within Kissamos Bay, with areas selected on the day based on weather conditions, sea currents, seasonality, and fish activity. The experience is flexible and adapts continuously depending on conditions and guests’ interest, allowing more time to be spent fishing when action is strong.
   Throughout the activity, guests are encouraged to participate at their own pace, ask questions, and enjoy an authentic, skill-based fishing experience while surrounded by the natural coastal scenery of Kissamos.
   No previous fishing experience is required, making this activity suitable for beginners as well as more experienced anglers. The trip is fully private and tailored to the group.

Meeting and pickup

Once you arrive at Kastelli Harbor, you will see a broken wooden ship on the right side of the road. We will be located approximately 30 meters past the wooden boat, at the boat ramp (slipway).
