Following pick-up from your hotel in Rethymno or Chania, travel along the northern coast of Crete by comfortable bus. Make your way to the archaeological site of Knossos, where King Minos built his palace. Itinerary

1. The Palace of Knossos

   Enjoy a 1-day bus excursion from Rethymno to Knossos. Visit the Palace of Knossos, the Archaeological Museum, the city of Heraklion and more.
   
   Following pick-up from your hotel in Rethymno approximately 08:00, travel along the northern coast of Crete by comfortable bus. Make your way to the archaeological site of Knossos, where King Minos built his palace. Get a 2-hour guided tour of the monument, designed by Daedalus in such an intriguing way that no visitor was said to find their way out without the help of a guide!
   
   Journey through the incredible history of King Minos and the Minoan civilization, and hear about some of the legends of Crete at what was once the island's largest palace.
   
   Note: The rest of the time will be spent for transport to get from one place to the other.

2. Heraklion

   Then, drive to the ancient city of Heraklion to take a tour of the Heraklion Archaeological Museum. Learn more about the island at what is considered to be one of the finest museums in the world dedicated to Minoan art with its many galleries of historic frescoes, jewelry, statues and more. Get some free time for coffee or lunch, and shop for souvenirs in the city center before the return journey to Rethymno.
   The rest of the time will be spent for transport

Departure Point: • Hotel pick-up (in Chania areas , Bali , Panormo, Scaleta, Adele, Platanias, Missiria, Rethymno town Sfakaki, Stavromenos and Atsipopoulo)
Pickup is from your hotel or the closest point accessible by a vehicle.
You'll receive specific pickup information in a separate email from the local partner (please check your spam folder).
All the pick ups from Rethymno old Town will be from the bus stop of church of four martyrs (4 martyres church).

• Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller
• Specialized infant seats are available
• Suitable for all physical fitness levels
• Seats are assigned by the theater box office and will not be known in advance of the performance date
• At the time of booking please mention your hotel name and location. You will be notified by email about the pickup point and time
• Pickup begins up to 15 minutes before tour starts and is done from central meeting points near the hotels, only in the areas of Panormo, Scaleta, Adele, Platanias, Missiria, Rethymno town, Atsipopoulo, Kavros and Georgioupoli
• Infants will be seated with their parents on the bus and will not have their own seat
